Which data is processed and from what sources does this data come from?
We process the personal data that we receive from you in the course of
a business relationship or generate in the context of the fulfillment
of contractual obligations. In addition, we process data that we
legitimately obtain from commercial licensed credit agencies
(§ 152 GewO) and commercially licensed address publishers
(§ 151 GewO) as well as from publicly available sources
(eg commercial register, land register, media).
"Personal information" means any information that relates to natural
persons, either directly or indirectly.
Personal data processed by us in addition to your master data
(eg name, address, contact data, customer number) include your
contract data (eg tariff, delivery time, binding period),
system data (eg meter number, meter point name), billing data
(eg invoice details, bank data) and consumption data
(eg consumption period, meter readings). In addition,
we process any information about your financial status
(e.g., credit history), promotional data (e.g., product offerings),
documentation data (e.g., conversation notes and email traffic),
marketing-related group affiliation and analysis data, and regulatory
compliance data.
For what purposes and on what legal basis is your data processed?
We process your personal data for the following purposes and based on

As part of your consent (Art 6 (1) (a) GDPR):
If you have given us consent to the processing of your personal data,
processing will only take place for the purposes specified in the
declaration of consent and to the extent agreed therein. You can
revoke your consent at any time, free of charge, with future effect.
For the fulfillment of contractual obligations (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR):
The processing of your data is necessary for the fulfillment of a
contract concluded with you or for the execution of pre-contractual
measures. The purpose of data processing is primarily based on the
specific product. Details of the purpose of the data processing can
be found in the respective contract documents and general terms and
conditions.
For the fulfillment of legal obligations (Art 6 para 1 lit c DSGVO):
We are subject to legal obligations that may require you to process
personal information. Such obligations may u.a. from the following

purposes (as far as your interests as a concerned person do not

To whom are your data shared?
We only disclose your personal data to third parties if this is
necessary for the fulfillment of (contractual) or legal obligations,
justified in order to safeguard our legitimate interests or is
permitted within the scope of a given consent. Your data will be
passed on to the following recipients:
Company according to the given consent commissioned service providers
for order processing (for example, service providers for postal
deliveries, customer satisfaction surveys, debt collection,
IT services as well as commercial licensed credit agencies
and address publishers) if required by law, public authorities and
authorities (eg tax authorities). In all cases where we share your
data with recipients inside and outside of our company, we always
ensure that this is done only on the basis of legal principles and
that the protection of your data is maintained.
How long will your data be stored?
We keep your data basically for the duration of our business
relationship with you. In addition, we are subject to a variety
of deletion and retention obligations, according to which we have
to delete data about you, third parties, your business cases and your
contractual relationship or have to keep beyond its termination, as
is the case for example due to company retention periods,
in addition, we retain your data as long as it is necessary to assert
legal claims.
Are you committed to providing data?
The provision of your personal data and, if applicable, of third
parties that make you known, is required to justify our contractual
relationship and to handle your business transactions.
If you do not provide us with this data or not to the extent required,
we may be unable to justify your desired contractual relationship or
process your business case. Please note that this would not be
considered a contractual default on our part.
Is there automated decision-making including profiling?
We do not use automated decision-making under Art. 22 DSGVO to reach a
decision on the establishment and conduct of the business
relationship.
